Meet the livingston youth leaders
Livingston Youth Leader group’s mission is to promote philanthropy in youths by advocating selfless service to the community and providing a forum for participation in various non-profit events and opportunities for youth involvement. The group of middle and high schoolers strive to use their generosity for the help of others.
Our mission statement
Livingston Youth Leaders (LYL) is a youth-led nonprofit founded in 2021 by a group of Livingston students determined to turn compassion into action. What began as a single bake sale to support COVID-19 relief in India has grown into a year-round movement of middle and high schoolers organizing fundraisers, health drives, and community service projects that reach families across New Jersey and around the world. Our mission is to promote philanthropy among youth, build the next generation of community leaders, and prove that no one is too young to make a difference.
Radiate Kindness. Helping one person might not change the whole world but it could change the whole world for one person.
In order to meet our goals, we have:
- 2021
- Bake Sale 2021: Raised over $8,000 for COVID-19 relief in India
